Schaeff Potter Results Round up – May 2017

I've raced 5 times so far this season and only had one decent result, so a slow and slightly disappointing start to the season. I got 5th in event one of the Surrey league handicap series, I was fairly pleased with this result as the race all came back together with 2 laps to go and it was a strong field, including the junior national champion.

Racing the Les Ingman was a great experience for me, it showed me the level of the riders that I am aiming to be at within a few years time. The Les Ingman was my first ever open road race, so I jumped in at the deep end but it was a great experience to race against some top riders. Racing in the Les Ingman taught me a lot about how important fuelling on the bike is, I think that only eating 1 bar and 1 gel in the race took its toll!

Thanks, Schaeff.
