DESCRIPTION:What: Individual time trial\nWhen: Tuesday\, May 2. 7.30pm (exact time TBC)\nWhere: Newdigate circuit\, south of Dorking (GS/157)\nHow far: 7.3 miles\nEnter online: CTT Website \nSOCIAL EVENT: We’ll be going to the Six Bells after the TT for a drinks and food \nJoin us for the first of our evening time trials on the Newdigate circuit in Surrey. This one-lap course runs on quiet country lanes\, and although short it remains a good test of any rider with long gentle climbs\, descents and plenty of twists and turns. Pacing yourself is key! \nThe winner is the fastest rider around the course\, although there are no prizes on the night\, there are prizes at the end of the year for the overall series. \nOur evening time trials are open to anyone who is already a member of a CTT affiliated club and you can enter online. If you’re not a member of a cycling club but would like to come along and give it a go\, please do get in touch\, we’d be only too happy to give you more details and welcome you on the night. \n \nEvent details\nClick here for the details of our series\, including categories\, points and prizes. DESCRIPTION:Join the Paragon for a sociable off-road ride on the bridleways around Merstham\, Bletchingley\, Godstone and Oxted. This gentle evening ride is a fun way to get out with club mates and improve your fitness. Members and non members are welcome. Please bring lights\, spares and tools. \nAlthough we should get to the finish point before it’s too dark\, you will need a front and a rear light as it can be dark under the trees. There isn’t a flat bit of road on the circuit\, but with good visibility on all the roads and only two corners it’s a popular one for many riders and a really good test for anyone trying time trials for the first time. \nOur evening time trials are open to anyone who is already a member of a CTT affiliated club and you can enter through the CTT website. If you’re not a member of a cycling club but would like to come along and give it a go\, please do get in touch\, we’d be only too happy to give you more details and welcome you on the night. \n \nEvent details\nClick here for details of the categories\, points system and prizes for the 2023 series.
