Charlie, a long-time club member of 40 years, passed away peacefully in St. George's Hospital on the 30th March 2017. He had been admitted for a procedure to relieve pressure from his brain but unfortunately he contracted a vigorous infection 6 days after the operation and died peacefully 3 weeks later.

Charlie was a keen time trialist and was a regular member of the club's vets team alongside Harry Featherstone and Les Black. He always had a funny story to tell and livened up many a club social function.

His funeral has been arranged for 1.00 pm Friday, 28th April at the South London Cemetery, Rowan Road, SW16 5JG with a reception afterwards at the Toby restaurant, 54 Commonside West, Mitcham, CR4 4HB.

Just so that his wife Jenni can let the Toby know what catering arrangements need to be made, could you please let her know if you or anyone else can join us on the 28th April. Jenni's contact phone number is in the club handbook.
