Come and take on the lung busting ascent of Ranmore hairpin and see where you rank amongst the club’s best climbers. The club champs is a popular event to ride and spectate at with people often gathering on the hairpin near the top of the climb to cheer people on.

The last two years the event has been won in around 3:03 minutes, with the fastest winning time being closer to 2:37mins, for the short, but steep climb up through the trees.

The first rider off will be around 7:30pm but be sure to get there in good time and warm up. Please let Stephen Roach know whether or not you wish to ride before the event (club members can do so on any of the What’s App groups). Although if you turn up at the last minute, we’ll fit you in.

The race is followed by a club social at the Stepping Stones pub at the bottom of the climb in Westhumble, between Dorking and Leatherhead. There is plenty of parking at the top of the hill, nearest train station is Westhumble, or it’s a five minute ride from either Dorking or Leatherhead.
