Time trial round six
We took a bit of a thrashing from the Dorking CC who turned out in force for the re-arranged event. With Newdigate out of action we decamped to the Holmwood course for an old fashioned blast up and down the A24. We even had two mountain bikers come out to help us get the numbers up! Well done to Steve and Dave who both posted very respectable times.
Time trial round five
Four hardy souls made it to Crowhurst for round five in our TT series with last year’s overall winner Sam Greenwood taking the spoils. Not that surprising considering the spanking new Factor TT bike he was riding. Simon Smythe strengthened his position at the top of the road bike rankings with a solid ride putting him three minutes clear of Simon Richardson, riding his first TT of the season.

There was a good turnout for the race on the Holmwood course, although no Paragon members took part meaning the season long standings were unaffected.

Time trial round one
Visiting rider Ben Elliott powered round the Newdigate circuit to win the first of our evening TTs last Tuesday, going under 17 minutes to win by one minute 22 seconds from James Dear. First Paragon rider home was last year’s series winner Sam Greenwood.
Simon Smythe was fastest in the road bike category, while new member Agata Kapuscinska was the fastest lady. 12 riders made the start line and we were happy to welcome several non-members.
