Once again the Paragon is organising summer gravel rides in 2023, for members and non-members alike. Seven of these are 1.5 – 2hr rides starting at the Inn on the Pond in Merstham while one is an all day ride down to Dover (date TBC)
Our evening gravel rides are very much social affairs with a steady pace throughout to allow riders to chat as they enjoy the local Surrey bridleways and summer evenings.
All the rides will finish either back at the Inn on the Pond or The Harrow in Chaldon where we’ll grab a quick drink before heading home. All the rides are listed in our events section on the website and in the diary. There you’ll find the dates, more details on the route, plus a short Google form to fill out.

All riders will need to bring spares, pump and multi-tool (to get you home should anything go wrong with your bike) and lights. While we won’t be going over any terrain that is too technical these rides aren’t suited to beginner off-road riders.
Our ride down to Dover, using the North Downs and Pilgrams way, is only suitable for experienced riders with a good fitness level.
This map is one of the routes we rode last year and includes many of the paths we’ll be riding. Only to be used as a guide.
