The Norwood Paragon’s summer evening TT season got underway this week – Tuesday 7 May – with a great turn out on the Newdigate circuit near Dorking in Surrey. Nerves were running high after last year’s disastrous series when most events were cancelled thanks to both roadworks and bad weather. Neither were on the cards this year as the sun shone throughout the day and evening, bringing 13 riders out to compete.
Visiting rider Ben Elliott (Paceline RT) was fastest with a very impressive ride of 16 minutes 33 seconds. Fastest Paragon was Sam Greenwood with a 17 minute 51 second ride while Andy Adshead did what was perhaps ride of the night with a 17.55 minute ride on a road bike.

Round two of our summer series is on 21 May, once again on the Newdigate circuit. Pre-entries via the CTT website, but you can also enter on the night. First rider off at 7:31pm
